Aqua Fitness

Aqua Fitness is designed to be full of fun to get you moving.

 

The exercises are performed in water that is chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate.  
 

Beginners and aqua enthusiasts alike are able to participate -  all you need is to have a suitable swim-suit and water bottle because ...yes..... you will sweat while in the water :)

Aqua Zumba vs. Aqua Aerobics

What's the difference between Aqua Zumba & Aqua Aerobics? 

Aqua Zumba is one pool party you don't want to miss! The class combines the traditional elements of aqua fitness classes with upbeat, latin-infused dance moves that Zumba fitness is famous for. There is less impact on your joints so you can really let loose! 


Aqua Aerobics is a low impact but a high intensity class designed to improve your flexibility, range of motion, strength and endurance while using the resistance of the water. The easy to follow routine is set to fun music with an effective use of equipment such as: aqua gloves, aqua dumbbells, aqua noodles and resistance bands. 


Benefits are Aqua Fitness are incredible: 

  • Low Impact - water supports the body, putting less stress on your joints and muscles 

  • Helps build strength - fighting against the push of water activates your muscles 

  • Lowers High Blood pressure - water pressure helps put less strain on the heart by moving blood around the body 

  • Builds Flexibility - The impact of gravity is less in the water allowing a greater range of motion
